How to use it
How to use the workbook
Start on the Dashboard by setting the Review Date, which controls deadline calculations. Select an Entry Term and Program, or leave either filter set to All. In Offer Tracker, enter or update one admission offer per row using an Applicant ID rather than an applicant name. Complete the applicable offer, response, deposit, enrollment, counselor, and review fields with the supplied dropdowns and validated date cells. Review the calculated Days to Deadline, Deadline Status, and Data Check columns, correcting source data when a record is flagged. On Lists & Settings, enter Offer Goal and Enrollment Goal values by term and program in the prepared planning table. Return to the Dashboard to monitor current offer outcomes, acceptance rate, enrollment yield, upcoming deadlines, goal attainment, enrollment gaps, and program comparisons. Changing the Review Date recalculates deadline outputs but does not create a historical snapshot.

Included features and controls
+Four-sheet workbook with Dashboard, Offer Tracker, Lists & Settings, and Instructions.
+A 150-row Excel table named tblOffers, spanning Offer Tracker rows 5 through 154, with populated samples included within that prepared range.
+Three calculated tracker fields: Days to Deadline, Deadline Status, and Data Check.
Track Admission Offers From Release to Enrollment
The Offer Tracker provides a structured record for each admission offer. Teams can capture the offer date, response deadline, outcome, response date, deposit date, enrollment status, start date, assigned counselor, and last review date. Controlled dropdowns reduce variation in common categories, while the Applicant ID field supports tracking without requiring an applicant-name field. The workbook instructions advise using fictional or organization-assigned IDs and avoiding unnecessary sensitive information.

Monitor Acceptance Rate and Enrollment Yield
The Dashboard calculates current operational totals from populated records in tblOffers. Offers Released counts populated records with an Offer Date, Awaiting Response counts records marked Pending, Accepted Offers counts accepted outcomes, and Enrolled counts records with Enrollment Status set to Enrolled. Acceptance Rate divides accepted offers by offers released, while Enrollment Yield divides enrolled records by offers released. Entry Term and Program filters allow a focused view or an All selection.
Prioritize Response Deadlines and Data Review
For pending offers with a response deadline, Days to Deadline compares that date with the Review Date on the Dashboard. Deadline Status then identifies overdue offers, items due today, deadlines within seven days, and future deadlines. Pending records without a deadline are labeled Missing Deadline, while non-pending records are labeled Closed. The separate Data Check output surfaces records that need attention, including duplicate Applicant IDs and missing required fields, along with other consistency conditions built into its formula.

Compare Enrollment Progress With Program Goals
The Lists & Settings sheet contains tblPlans, where users can enter an Offer Goal and Enrollment Goal for a selected entry term and program. The Dashboard summarizes the relevant goals, calculates goal attainment, and shows the enrollment gap with a minimum result of zero. A program chart compares enrolled counts with enrollment goals across all five supplied programs. This chart follows the Entry Term filter and always shows all programs for comparison.
Common questions
About this template
The Offer Tracker contains 150 prepared operational rows, from row 5 through row 154, in the Excel table named tblOffers. The populated sample records are included within those 150 rows rather than adding extra capacity.
The workbook manifest does not establish built-in capacity beyond row 154.
Yes. The Dashboard includes an Entry Term filter and a Program filter. Each can be set to All or to one supplied value.
The available terms are Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027. The workbook includes five supplied program options.
Acceptance Rate is the number of records with Outcome Status set to Accepted divided by the number of populated records with an Offer Date under the selected Dashboard filters.
Enrollment Yield is the number of records with Enrollment Status set to Enrolled divided by that same offers-released count. Both formulas return zero if the division cannot be completed.
No. Changing the Dashboard Review Date updates the deadline calculations for the current records in Offer Tracker.
It does not preserve or reconstruct historical status snapshots.
Yes. The tblPlans table on Lists & Settings provides fields for Entry Term, Program, Offer Goal, and Enrollment Goal. It includes 100 prepared planning rows from row 11 through row 110.
The goal fields accept whole numbers from 0 through 10,000. The Dashboard uses these entries for goal summaries, goal attainment, enrollment gap, and program comparisons.

The Instructions sheet advises against entering Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses, medical information, demographic attributes, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
